Christian Bonfils, who headed up BW Dry Cargo, has formed Copenhagen Commercial Platform (CCP), with the backing of BW Group and Weco Shipping to connect owners and charterers while demonstrating each vessel’s environmental metrics, vetting the energy efficiency design index (EEDI) and then reporting annual efficiency ratio (AER) and energy efficiency operational indicators (EEOI). The platform has 16 ships already onboard.
