The sinking of the MV Rosali offshore of Ambae, Vanuatu serves as another example of the need for improved safety measures aboard vessels in the Pacific. Fortunately, none of the passengers were lost, and all were recovered by the RVS Tukoro within two hours, including a young toddler amongst the 12 people aboard.
