At the International Energy Agency's (IEA) Clean Energy Transitions Summit, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says carbon pricing is needed to transition to a more sustainable future, and to stop wasting money on fossil fuel subsidies. 

Analysis of G20 recovery packages shows recovery money is being spent on fossil fuels as clean energy at over a 2:1 ratio.

His message was unambiguous: "Coal has no place in Covid-19 recovery plans."
