The Pacific Islands are one of the most endangered regions on earth due to climate change. Countries in the collective are now pushing to decarbonise their own maritime sectors and improve the quality of service and infrastructure available to shipping.
The Marshall Islands, Fiji and others are eyeing a 10-year plan to modernise Pacific Island shipping and want to fully decarbonise by 2050.
