WIND POWER TO AID SHIPPING EMISSIONS REDUCTION

Wind power is ready to play its part to help shipping meet Paris-aligned greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets set by the IMO.

That is according to Tuomas Riski, CEO of Norsepower Oy Ltd, a leading manufacturer of auxiliary wind propulsion systems, who says that its own Rotor Sail Solution technology alone has the potential to reduce emissions by 5%.
